The province will offer subsidies to parents of infants and toddlers less than 1 year old beginning this year.

The amount to be offered will be 700,000 won per month for a newborn, and 350,000 won for children a year old.

For children in daycare center, the amount offered will be reduced to 186,000 won considering the fact that parents already receive a monthly child care voucher of 514,000 won when their child is enrolled in a daycare center.

Applications must be made within 60 days from the child’s birthdate through the government's website and community or welfare center located at a nearby administrative district office.

Anyone who applies after 60 days will not be eligible for any additional retroactive payments and will only receive fees beginning from the month applied.




올해부터 만 0~1세 영유아 부모급여 지급


제주특별자치도가 올해부터 만 0살에서 1살까지의 영유아를 대상으로 부모 급여를 지급합니다.

만 0살 아동은 월 70만원, 1살은 35만원입니다.

다만 어린이집을 이용하는 경우 이미 월 51만 4천원의 보육료 바우처를 지원받고 있는 만큼 0살의 경우 이를 제외한 차액인 18만 6천원을 받게 됩니다.

부모급여 신청은 출생일을 포함한 60일 이내에 주민등록상 주소지 읍면동 주민센터나 복지로, 정부 24, 누리집을 통해 신청해야 합니다.

60일이 지난 후 신청하면 소급적용을 받지 못하고 신청한 달부터 적용받게 됩니다.
