Projects to build pet related infrastructures including a second animal protection center and burial facility will be carried out in Jeju.

This year, Jeju Island is planning to build pet related infrastructures to promote a project that works to create a "pet welfare culture center" in earnest.

The project has been initiated to help reduce the number of abandoned animals and to revitalize animal adoption by supporting with animal adoption expenses, as well as campaigning throughout the year.

In addition, a dedicated organization will be established and personnel will be appointed in the first half of the year to further strengthen support for animal welfare and to help foster pet related industries.

제주에 제2 동물보호센터와 장묘시설 등 반려동물 관련 인프라 구축사업이 본격 추진됩니다.

제주도는 올해 반려동물관련 인프라 구축을 위한
'반려동물 복지문화센터' 조성사업을 본격 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

특히 유기동물 저감을 위해 연중 캠페인은 물론 유기동물 입양비원 지원 등 입양활성화에도 노력하기로 했습니다.

이와함께 상반기 인사를 통해 전담조직을 신설해 동물복지나 반려동물 산업육성 지원을 보다 강화할 방침입니다.
