INTERVIEW
Son Seo-yeon / G2, Jeju Foreign Language High School
It's fascinating to be able to talk with foreign professors and communicate with them, and it's enjoyable to understand things better when we conduct experiments firsthand.
INTERVIEW
Kim Ga-bin / G2, Sehwa High School
Even though it may be difficult to understand the content in Korean, it becomes even more challenging when presented in English. However, it was fun to find content that I could understand.
This summer vacation course has about 40 students from eight high schools participating, and it is in high demand with over 20 students being rejected in advance applications.
Students, who have become accustomed to online classes due to the impact of COVID-19, are actively participating in the classes.
INTERVIEW
Oh Myeong-suk / Professor, University of New England, Australia
Jeju students are highly skilled in PowerPoint presentations. We conduct a similar summer course in 5 different places, but compared to those, Jeju students' presentation skills and research content are very profound.
While vacations are an opportunity to gain diverse experiences, for students who need to consider their academic records, going abroad is not easy.
However, the ongoing joint video conferencing classes with the University of New England in Australia have become an opportunity to gain unique experiences and broaden horizons.
