The province plans to enhance the inspections to ensure the quality of school meals.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education will conduct GMO tests for processed soy products and expand radiation inspections of seafood from the previous four times a year to nine.

To prevent foodborne illnesses, microbial tests on kitchen utensils will be conducted twice a year.

Furthermore, a School Meal Environment Improvement Manual containing standards for school facilities will be created and distributed to schools.

수산물 방사능 검사도
종전 연 4차례에서 9차례로 확대합니다.

식중동 예방을 위해
급식 기구 대한 미생물 검사도 연 2회 실시합니다.

이 밖에도 급식시설의 표준안을 담은
학교 급식 환경개선 메뉴얼을 제작해 학교에 보급합니다.
