The Province is expanding support for childcare services to alleviate the financial burden of raising children.

Initially, households with two or more children and incomes below 150% of the median income will receive an additional 10% subsidy on their co-payment.

For parents under 24 years old raising children under the age of one, 90% of the total service fee will be covered.

Furthermore, to fill childcare gaps caused by school commutes, business trips, or overtime work, pilot programs for emergency and short-term services will be initiated.

Last year, over 1,100 households in Jeju received subsidies for childcare service fees.

제주도가 자녀 양육비 부담을 줄여주기 위해
아이돌봄 서비스를 확대 지원합니다.

우선 중위소득 150% 이하의
2자녀 이상 가구에는 본인 부담금의 10%가 추가 지원합니다.

1살 미만의 아이를 키우는 24살 이하 청소년 부모에게는
전체 이용요금의 90%를 지원해 양육비 부담을 낮췄습니다.

이 밖에도 등하교나 출장, 야근 등으로 인한
돌봄 공백을 해소하기 위해
긴급.단시간 서비스도 시범 운영합니다.

한편 지난해 제주에서는 1천1백여 가구가
아이돌봄 서비스 이용요금을 지원 받았습니다.
