The number of early scrappage applications for old diesel cars in the Seogwipo area has significantly increased.

Seogwipo City announced that they have received 755 applications for the program for old diesel cars this year until last month.
This represents an increase of 74.8% or 323 cases compared to the same period last year.

The increase in early scrappage support is attributed to the expansion of the target beneficiaries and the growing demand for replacements due to the aging of vehicles.

Seogwipo City provided approximately 2.06 billion won in subsidies to over 1,300 vehicles last year.

서귀포 지역 노후경유차 조기폐차 시청이 크게 늘었습니다.

서귀포시는 올해 노후경유차 조기폐차 지원사업 접수 결과 지난달까지 755건이 접수됐다고 밝혔습니다.

이는 지난해 같은 기간보다 74.8%, 323건 증가한 규모입니다.

조기폐차 지원이 증가한 것은 지원 대상이 확대되고 차량 노후에 따른 교체 수요가 늘었기 때문으로 풀이됩니다.

서귀포시는 지난해 1천300여 대에 폐차 지원금 20억 6천여 만원을 지급했습니다.
