Direct flights between Jeju and Tokyo, Japan, will resume starting this July.

According to the Jeju tourism industry, Korean Air plans to operate direct flights from Jeju to Tokyo Narita three times a week, starting July 3rd.

The resumption of the Jeju-Tokyo route comes 3 years and 4 months after it was suspended due to COVID-19.

In addition, with the resumption of direct flights to Xi'an and Harbin in China, the number of international flights at Jeju Airport is expected to recover to pre-COVID levels, with 171 flights per week starting in July.

The tourism industry expects that the diversification of international routes will also help revitalize the Jeju tourism market.

대한항공이 오는 7월 3일부터
제주와 일본 도쿄 나리타 직항 노선이
주 3회 운항될 계획입니다.

제주-도쿄 노선이 재개된 것은
코로나19로 중단된 지 3년 4개월 만입니다.

이외에도 중국 시안, 하얼빈 직항노선도 재개되면서
오는 7월부터
제주공항 국제선은 주 171회 운항돼
코로나 이전 수준으로 회복될 전망입니다.

관광업계는 국제노선이 다각화되면서
제주 관광시장 활성화에도 도움이 될 것으로
기대하고 있습니다.
