Jeju Province is establishing guidelines for constructing roads centered on people and nature.

To achieve this, a task force will be formed around experts and administrative staff in construction, transportation, urban planning, landscape, and related fields to engage in practical discussions.

The task force will focus on creating roads considering pedestrians and cyclists from the design stage, moving away from the existing vehicle-centered transportation system by the second half of this year.

이를 위해 건설과 교통, 도시계획, 경관 등 관련 분야의 전문가와 행정 인력을 중심으로 전담팀을 꾸리고 실무 협의에 나섭니다.

전담팀은 올 하반기까지 기존 차량 중심의 이동체계에서 벗어나 설계 단계부터 보행자와 자전거 이용자를 배려한 도로를 만드는데 초점을 맞추게 됩니다.
