Ahead of the summer swimming season, the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters has assigned location numbers to life-saving equipment boxes to identify the sites of water-related accidents quickly.

For this purpose, each life-saving equipment box will be marked with a yellow reflective strip on the upper exterior, and the information will be registered in the 119 Emergency Control Center’s geographic information system.

The Fire Safety Headquarters explained that if a water-related accident occurs, the reporter can provide the location number to 119, enabling a swift response and location verification.

소방안전본부는
수난사고가 발생할 경우
신고자가 119에 위치번호를 알려주면
신속히 위치를 확인하고 대응할 수 있다고 설명했습니다.
