Jeju's 14 Projects, 500B Won Pledged

At the Livelihood Forum on the 15th, President Yoon Suk Yeol (윤석열) announced 14 action plans related to Jeju, with a total budget of close to 500 billion won.

President Yoon declared that the government would actively support 14 projects, including the green hydrogen demonstration project and the public sewage treatment facility project.

The budget breakdown includes 56 billion won for the large-scale green hydrogen demonstration project, 140 billion won for the modernization of public sewage treatment facilities, and 5.2 billion won for the installation of unmanned immigration inspection desks at Gangjeong Cruise Terminal. The total support budget exceeds 470 billion won.

This budget excludes funds for Jeju's second airport, new port, and higher-level hospitals.
