New outdoor pool being built at Gwakji Gwamul Beach
\800m facility will be filled with seawater

Jeju City will build a new outdoor swimming pool filled with seawater at (곽지 과물) Gwakji Gwamul Beach in Aewol-eup.

The city will spend 800 million won on the project. The design work has started and construction is slated to begin in November.

The pool will include a waterslide and other fun things for children, as well as some areas around it to just take it easy.

More people visit Gwakji every year. The total was 125,000 in 2011, but it exceeded 202,000 this year.


곽지과물해변에 야외해수풀장 조성

제주시 애월읍 곽지과물해변에 야외해수풀장이 조성됩니다.

제주시는 사업비 8억원을 들여 곽지과물해변 명품 해수풀장 조성사업에 대한
설계용역을 발주하고 다음달부터 공사에 들어갑니다.

이에따라 곽지과물해변에는 야외해수풀장을 비롯해 워터슬라이드 같은 놀이기구와
휴식공간이 갖춰지게 됩니다. 곽지과물해변을 찾은 이용객수는 지난 2011년 12만5천명에서 꾸준히 늘어 올해에는 20만2천명을 넘었습니다.
