Jeju economy grew 4.8% in 2014
Per capita income up 1.5% to \16m

The local economy grew by 4.8 percent in 2014.

According to Statistics Korea, gross production in Jeju stood at 13.2 trillion won in 2014, 4.8 percent higher than the previous year.

That was the third highest growth in the country, after Gyeonggi-do Province with 5.6 percent and South Choongchung Province with 4.9 percent. It was 1.5 percentage points higher than the national average of 3.3 percent.

Jeju’s per capita income stood at some 16 million won in 2014, up 1.5 percent from a year earlier.

통계청이 발표한 지난해 제주지역내 실질 총생산 규모는
13조 2천억 원으로 지난 2013년보다 4.8% 증가했습니다.

이는 경기도 5.6%, 충남 4.9% 에 이어 전국 세번째이며
전국 평균 3.3%에 비해서도 1.5% 포인트 높은 것입니다.

도민 1인당 개인소득은 1천 6백여 만 원으로 전년 대비 1.5% 늘었습니다.
