Military to receive more Jeju-farmed flatfish
Province to also spend \200m on other promotions

The provincial government will work on a number of fronts to expand the distribution and sales of locally-farmed flatfish.

The province said Monday it will boost its supply of the fish to the military from last year’s 51 tons to 66 tons this year. This initiative is in line with a contract signed between the Hallim branch of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and the Defense Acquisition Program Administration.

An additional 200 million won is also slated to be used to hold a Jeju flatfish festival and exhibition.

제주특별자치도는 한림수협과 방위사업청 계약에 따라
지난해 양식광어 51톤에 이어 올해도 66톤을 군에 보급할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

또 사업비 2억 원을 들여 제주광어 대축제와
광어 품평회와 같은 행사도 개최할 예정입니다.
