Safety check of Hallasan hiking trails
April through June

Officials at the Hallasan National Park office will conduct safety checks of the mountain’s trails from this month through June.

They will be inspecting the wooden decks, stone stairways, bridges, evacuation areas, and rockslide protections along the mountains seven trails.

Authorities will focus on the evacuation sites and rockslide protections and then draw up supplementary safety measures based on the results of the inspections.

한라산 탐방시설에 대한 안전점검에 나섭니다.

점검대상은 탐방로 7개소의 목재 데크와 돌계단,
목교, 교량, 대피소,
관음사 지구 삼각봉 주변의 낙석방지시설 등입니다.

특히 대피소나 낙석방지시설의 경우 정밀 안전점검을 통해
보강대책을 마련한다는 계획입니다.
