Jeju International Tourism Marathon on May 29
Participants can choose among varied events

The Jeju International Tourism Marathon will place on the 29th this month along the Gujwa-eup coastline.

This is the 21st edition of the annual race. It begins at the Gujwa Sports Complex and takes participants past Woljeong Beach and along the Jongdal Coastal Road.

Participants can choose to run either the full or half course, or they can take part in a separate ten-kilometer run or a ten-kilometer walk.

A corresponding event will be simultaneously held in Wakayama, Japan, which is one of Jeju’s “sister cities.”

제주국제관광마라톤축제가
오는 29일 구좌읍 해안도로 일대에서 열립니다.

올해로 21회째를 맞은 이번 대회는
구좌종합운동장을 출발해 월정해변을 거쳐
종달해안도로를 돌아오는 코스에서 진행됩니다.

경기종목은 풀코스와 하프코스, 10km 일반코스,
그리고 10km 워킹코스로 진행됩니다.

한편 이번대회에는 제주시와 국제자매도시 결연을 맺은
일본 와카야마시에서도 참가할 예정입니다.
