New airport road to be ready by 2018
Three years earlier than initially planned

The road construction project around Jeju International Airport is now slated to be completed by the second half of 2018… three years earlier than initially planned.

The Jeju City municipal administration has added an extra 10 billion won to the project budget. The road will connect the airport with the 1132 via the Jeju City Traditional Five-Day Market.

Initially, the plan was to have the road ready for use by 2021.

Jeju City has earmarked 12 billion won to buy the 95,000 square meters of land needed for the project. It has already purchased 27,000 square meters.

2018년 하반기까지 완공됩니다.

제주시는 제주국제공항에서부터 다호마을, 오일장을 거쳐
지방도 1132호선 즉 평화로를 잇는 도시계획도로
개설 사업비가 추경을 통해 100억원이 반영돼
조기 추진에 탄력을 받게됐다고밝혔습니다.

이에따라 공항 우회도로 개설사업은
당초 2021년에서 2018년 하반기 마무리 될 전망입니다.

제주시는 지금까지 120억원을 투입해
편입토지 9만5천여제곱m 가운데
2만7천여제곱m를 매수했습니다.
