Education office unveils hiring plans for 2017 academic year
128 new school workers to be hired

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education will hire 128 new public school staff members for the 2017 academic year.

The total is broken down into 62 teachers for kindergarten and elementary schools and 66 non-teaching staff for middle schools.

New people will be hired for 22 subjects or jobs. That includes five school nutritionists as well as five teachers of Korean language, five for math, and seven for physical education.

The first stage in the hiring process will be an exam on November 19th.

제주도교육청이 내년 공립 초,중등 교사
선발인원을 확정해 발표했습니다.

선발 인원은 유치원 교사와 초등 교사 62명과
보건, 사서, 영양교사 등 중등교원 66명을 합쳐 모두 128명입니다.

선발 예정 과목은 국어 5명, 수학 5명,
체육 7명, 보건 5명 등 모두 22개 교과에서 모집합니다.
임용 1차 시험은 오는 11월 19일 실시될 예정입니다.
