Korea International School expects to have almost 1,000 students next year.
When the new school year starts in August, officials say the student body will surpass 850. That’s more than double the 369 pupils at the school in its first year, which was 2011.
KIS Jeju says that each year it welcomes about 70 new Chinese and 70 new Japanese students, which is why the projection for next year is near 1,000.
