Jeju gets top marks in evaluation of provincial governments
Top scores in 6 of 9 categories

Jeju has one of the country’s “best” provincial governments according to a recent evaluation by the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs.

Out of the nine categories evaluated, Jeju received the highest scores in six, giving it the highest score the island province has ever received in the annual evaluation.

Last year, Jeju got top scores in only two categories.

제주도, 올해 지방자치단체 합동평가 '최우수'

제주특별자치도가 행정자치부의 올해 지방자치단체 합동평가에서 최우수 단체로 선정됐습니다.

이번 평가에서 제주도는 9개 분야 가운데 일반행정과 지역경제, 문화가족 등 6개 분야에서 가장 높은 '가' 등급을 받아 역대 최고의 성적을 거뒀다고 평가했습니다.

지난해의 경우 '가'등급이 2개에 머물며 최하위를 기록한 바 있습니다.
