Airline fuel surcharges to remain unchanged in August
No fees for international flights, \1,100 for domestic flights

For the second straight month, airlines will keep their fuel surcharges at 1,100 won for domestic flights in August.

Domestic airlines will keep the fuel surcharge at 1,100 won for any domestic tickets sold next month, regardless of the date of departure.

Fuel surcharges on international flights will remain at zero for the 12th straight month.

다음달 국내선 유류할증료가 이번 달에 이어 두 달 연속 1천 100원으로 책정됐습니다.

국내 항공업계는 국제 원유가격이 유류할증료 부과 기준을 넘어서면서
다음달 1일부터 31일까지 발권하는 국내선 항공권에 대해
출발일과 관계없이 이같이 부과하기로 결정했습니다.

반면 국제선 항공권은 12개월 연속 0원으로 책정됐습니다.
