EV chargers coming to LH public rental complexes
Portable units to be installed at 15 sites in Jeju

Electric vehicle chargers will be installed at LH public rental apartment complexes.

Until now, though, residents at rental complexes have been unable to have chargers installed due to a lack of parking space.

The provincial government and the Jeju branch of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, or LH, have signed a deal to install portable chargers at LH’s 15 complexes by next year.

Some 90 portable chargers have alreadly been installed at large-scale apartment complexes with over 100 units.

Government authorities have also announced plans for financial support for the installation of solar panels.

제주도와 LH 제주본부는 업무협약을 통해 내년까지 LH가 관리하고 있는 임대아파트 15단지에
이동형 전기차 충전 인프라를 구축할 계획입니다.

또 100세대 이상 대단지 아파트에도 전기차와 일반차가 구분없이 주차가 가능한 이동형 충전기 90여기를 설치했고 태양광 설치비 지원 등의 인센티브도 제공할 예정입니다.

그동안 공동주택은 주차장 부족 문제 등으로 전기차 충전 인프라 보급이 어려웠습니다.
