JDC accepting applications for top post
New chairman likely to begin work in November

After having had no luck in its previous attempt, the Jeju Free International City Development Center is again accepting applications for the top position in the organization.

Candidates may apply through October 10th.

The JDC’s board member recommendation committee will then narrow the field of candidates down to three based on applications and interviews.

If all goes according to plan, the new chairman will begin his or her duties in November.

The official term in office of the current chairman, Kim Han-wook, ended on June 6th, but he has continued on as the interim chief, as the position has remained vacant.

JDC 이사장 재공모 절차 착수

한 차례 무산됐던 제주국제자유도시개발센터 이사장 공모절차가 다시 진행됩니다.

JDC 이사장 임원추천위원회는 오늘(19일) 이사장 공모 공고를 내고 다음달 10일까지 후보자를 접수하고 있습니다.

임원추천위원회는 접수된 후보를 대상으로 서류 심사와 면접을 거쳐 기획재정부 공공기관운영위원회에
이사장 후보자로 3명을 추천할 예정입니다.

이에따라 신임 이사장은 재공모 절차가 순조롭게 진행될 경우 오는 11월쯤 취임할 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.

한편 김한욱 현 이사장은 지난 6월 6일자로 3년 임기를 마쳤지만 후임자가 인선될 때까지 업무를 수행하게 됩니다.
