National Sports Festival begins October 7
Jeju Sports Council aiming for 90+ medals

The Jeju Provincial Sports Council has high hopes for the local team in the upcoming National Sports Festival, which will take place in Choong-nam from October 7th to the 13th.

Jeju will be sending 714 athletes to compete in 37 events.

The sports council hopes they will bring home more than 90 medals, including 12 in track and field, five in weightlifting, four in gymnastics, and 11 in swimming.

제주도체육회는 올해 전국체전에서 90개 이상의 메달 획득을 기대하고 있습니다

제주도체육회는 다음달 7일부터 일주일동안 충청남도 일원에서 개최되는 제97회 전국체육대회에 37개 종목 714명의 선수단을 파견합니다.

올해 메달 목표는 육상 12개, 역도 5개, 체조 4개, 수영 11개 등 기록종목에서 43개, 체급종목에서 34개 등 모두 90개 이상의 메달을 기대하고 있습니다.
