Housing transactions continue to increase
Up 24% in 2015

Residential property transactions continued to increase last year.

According to a report by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Appraisal Board, 19,900 residential real estate transactions took place in 2015. That’s 24 percent more than a year earlier.

By type, apartments took up the largest share, with 8,640 sold last year… followed by stand-alone houses at 4,770, and then townhouses at 3,190 units sold.

Authorities attributed the rise in home-buying to the continued influx of people moving to Jeju and the launch of large housing development projects in 2010 that led to the construction of many large-scale apartment complexes.

도내 주택 거래량 꾸준히 증가

도내 주택 거래량이 꾸준히 증가하고 있습니다.

국토교통부와 한국감정원에 따르면 지난해 제주지역 주택 거래량은
1만 9천900여 건으로 전년보다 24퍼센트 증가했습니다.

이 가운데 아파트가 8천 640건으로 가장 많이 거래됐고,
단독주택 4천 770건, 연립주택 3천 190건으로 뒤를 이었습니다.

국토부와 감정원은 유입인구가 증가하고 2010년 이후 택지개발지구가 들어서면서
단지형 아파트를 중심으로 거래가 활발하게 이뤄지고 있는 것으로 분석했습니다.
