Disabled parking placards being replaced
Fines for using existing placards beginning in September

National authorities are issuing new disabled parking placards.

The government is replacing the old placards through the end of next month. The new ones are circular. Placards for disabled drivers will be yellow, while those for drivers of disabled passengers will be white.

You can exchange current placards with the new ones at local government offices.

Authorities will start in September fining people 100,000 won for using the old ones.

장애인주차표지 변경 다음달까지 교체

장애인전용주차구역을 이용할 수 있는 주차표지가 새롭게 바꼈습니다.

정부는 원형 모양에 장애인 본인은 노란색, 보호자는 흰색으로 구분한 주차표지를 다음달 까지 전면 교체합니다.

표지를 바꾸려면 거주지읍면동을 방문해 기존 표지를 반납하면 됩니다.

제주도는 9월부터 단속을 실시해 표지를 교체하지 않은 위반 차량에 대해 과태료 10만 원을 부과할 계획입니다.
