Seogwipo to use electric buses for city tours
First service of its kind in nation

Later this year, Seogwipo will become the first community in the nation to use electric buses for its city tour program.

Four electric buses will hit the road in May. Their route will take them around the old part of the city, including the the five-day market, the Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, (아랑조을) Arang Joeul Street, (이중섭) Lee Jung Seop Street, and Jeongbang Waterfall.

Not only will this be the first time electric buses are used for city tours in the nation, it will be Seogwipo’s first attempt at any type of city tour service.

서귀포시, 전국 최초 전기버스 시티투어 시행

서귀포시가 전국에서 처음으로 전기버스를 활용한 시티투어를 시행합니다.

이를 위해 오는 5월부터 전기버스 4대를 투입해 향토오일시장부터 매일올레시장,
아랑조을거리, 이중섭거리, 정방폭포 등 옛도심을 순환하는 코스로 운영합니다.

서귀포에서 시티투어가 운영되기는 이번이 처음이며 전기버스 투입도 전국에서 최초입니다.
