455 new civil servants to be hired this year
Exams scheduled for April, June, September

The local government will hire this year the most new civil servants since an apprenticeship system was put in place.

Officials will fill 455 openings, including 420 in administration and research, 27 at island fire departments, and six at police departments.

This year, the provincial government and each of the two municipal administrations will hire separately. New hires will be allowed to apply for a transfer among them after five years at the post for which they were initially hired.

Recruitment tests will be in April, June, and September.

제주도가 도제 실시 이후 역대 최대규모의 지방공무원을 선발합니다.

올해 선발인원은 455명으로 행정과 연구지도직 등 420명, 소방직 27명, 자치경찰 6명 등입니다.

특히 올해는 임용 예정기관을 제주도와 양 행정시 별로 구분 모집해 선발할 예정이며 5년 근무 후에 전보가 가능합니다.

임용시험은 4월과 6월 그리고 9월에 실시됩니다.
