Ban on Gyeonggi poultry lifted
Follows official declaration of end to bird flu outbreak

The provincial government has lifted its ban on poultry products from the Gyeonggi region of the mainland.

National officials declared the bird flu outbreak in the area over as of Friday, so local officials lifted the ban on Saturday.

Bans on poultry products from Chungnam, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongnam remain in place.

Local officials say they will lift them once officials declare the bird flu outbreaks in the regions have run their course.

경기지역 가금산물 반입금지 해제

경기지역의 가금산물 반입이 허용됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 오늘(14일)자로 경기지역의 고병원성 AI가 종식돼 이동제한이 해제됨에 따라 내일부터 이 지역의 가금산물 반입금지를 해제합니다.

이에 따라 가금산물 반입금지 지역은 충남과 전남.전북, 경남지역이 남게 됐습니다.

제주도는 해당지역별로 AI 종식 여부에 따라 반입금지 지역을 추가 해제할 예정입니다.
