Casinos in Jeju now have an improved ability to detect counterfeits of all kinds.

The National Forensic Service recently handed over to the provincial government two portable detectors that it had developed.

The devices can identify counterfeit money, forged passports, and bogus credit cards.

Without them, it’s taken a considerable amount of time to detect forgeries - all suspected cases have had to be sent to the NFS for testing.
