Jeju Reading Festival November 4, 5

Organizers hope locals and tourists will enjoy the Jeju Reading Festival this November.

The event will be hosted by Jeju City and the festival’s promotional committee. It will be at the Citizen Welfare Town from November 4th to the 5th.

The themes are Jeju, books, and culture. The festival will include talks and meet-and-greets by authors, musical performances, and poetry readings.

In order to generate more interest in the event, Jeju City plans to have a contest to come up with a slogan for it. It will accept ideas through August 29th.

책축제 '제주 독서문화대전' 11월 개최

도민과 관광객들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 책축제인 '제주 독서문화대전'이 오는 11월 제주에서 열립니다.

제주시가 주최하고 제주 독서문화대전 추진위원회가 주관하는 이번 축제는
오는 11월 4일부터 5일까지 이틀동안 제주시민복지타운 일대에서 진행됩니다.

특히 북 콘서트와 축하공연, 작가 릴레이 콘서트, 시낭송회 등 제주와 책, 문화를 주제로 한 대규모 북 페스티벌로 꾸며집니다.

제주시는 시민들의 관심과 참여를 유도하기 위해 오는 29일까지 제주 독서문화대전 슬로건을 공모할 예정입니다.
