Jeju City Tour Bus service ends
New public bus routes cover stops

The Jeju City Tour Bus service, which had been in the red for years, was officially ended August 26th.

City officials say they timed the shutdown to coincide with the revamped public transport system. The new bus routes that are part of that make up for the loss of the Jeju City Tour Bus service.

The city tour buses never caught on - they had been operating at a deficit since the service began in 2013.

그동안 만성적인 적자에 시달리던 제주시티투어버스가 오늘(26일)로서 운행을 종료했습니다.

제주시는 개편된 대중교통 시행과 맞물려 시티투어버스 운행을 종료한다고 밝혔습니다.

시티투어버스는 지난 2013년부터 운행을 했지만, 이용률이 낮아 매년 적자난을 겪어 왔습니다.

제주시는 시티투어버스를 폐지하는 대신 개편된 노선버스와 관광지순환버스가
대체 운행된다고 밝혔습니다.
