88 animals bred in Korea

Domestically-bred racehorses will be auctioned off in Jeju next month.

The Korea Racehorse Producers Association will host its third auction of the year September 4th and 5th at the racetrack in Gyorae-ri.

88 registered thoroughbreds will be put up for auction.

A “breeze up” is scheduled for the first day of the auction. That’s when the horses, which haven’t yet raced, are galloped over a short distance so that potential buyers can see them in action. The actual auction will then be September 5th. It will be conducted electronically.

다음달 4~5일, 국내산 경주마 경매

국내산 경주마에 대한 경매가 다음달 제주에서 진행됩니다.

한국경주마생산자협회는다음달 4일부터 5일까지 이틀 동안 제주시 조천읍 교래리 경마장에서 올해 3차 국내산 경주마에 대한 경매를 진행합니다.

이번 경매에는 더러브렛 혈통 등록이 완료된 경주마 88마리가 상장됩니다.

첫날인 4일에는 경주마들이 전력질주한 뒤 말의 상태를 살피는 브리즈업 행사가 열리고 이튿날에는 전자식으로 본격 경매가 진행됩니다.
