Seogwipo to restore 3 more freshwater springs
Work slated for completion in November

Seogwipo plans to restore its depleting supply of natural springwater.

The restoration work will be done in three spots: Taeheung-ri, Namwon-eup; Sangmo-ri, Daejung-eup; and Sanghyo-dong.

Workers will install stone pavement and safety fences around the springs in those areas, as well as fix any damage. The work is scheduled for completion in November.

The city has repaired and restored 32 freshwater springs since 2009.

서귀포시, 용천수 복원·보존사업 추진

서귀포시가 훼손되고 사라지는 용천수에 대한 복원.보존사업을 추진합니다.

사업 대상은 남원읍 태흥리 게맛물과 대정읍 상모리 산이물, 상효동 조가물 3곳입니다.

이들 용천수에 대해 오는 11월까지 판석 포장과 안전펜스 설치, 훼손부분 복구 등을 추진하게 됩니다.

서귀포시는 지난 2009년부터 지금까지 용천수 32곳을 정비한 바 있습니다.
