T’way Air begins Jeju-Tokyo service
4 flights per week

T’way Air has launched direct flight service between Jeju and Tokyo, Japan.

The airline said on Saturday that it will offer four flights per week.

This is in addition to the direct service between Jeju and Osaka T’way Air began a few months ago. Local officials say they hope the new air links will bring more Japanese tourists to the island.

The provincial government and the Jeju Tourism Organization held a welcoming ceremony Saturday at the Jeju airport’s international arrivals terminal for the first fliers to make the trip from Tokyo on the new route.

티웨이항공, 제주-도쿄 노선 주 4회 운항

티웨이항공이 오사카 노선에 이어 제주-도쿄 직항노선에 신규 취항합니다.

티웨이항공은 내일(2일) 제주와 일본 도쿄 노선에 신규 취항하고 주 4회 왕복 운항한다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 지난 6월 오사카 노선 취항 이후 도쿄 노선까지 확대되면서 접근성 향상에 따른 일본인 관광객 유치 효과가 기대됩니다.

제주도와 제주관광공사는 내일(2일) 제주공항 국제선 도착 대합실에서 도쿄-제주 노선 항공편을 타고 들어오는 관광객들을 대상으로 환영행사를 개최할 예정입니다.
