Province seeks to develop public land in Gimnyeong-ri
Plan is for 890 housing units

The provincial government plans to begin developing public land in Gimnyeong-ri.

Local officials say they will contribute some 100,000 square meters of land there for an equivalent in-kind investment by the Jeju Province Development Corporation.

If the provincial council signs off on the proposal, 890 housing units will be built by 2021.

The JPDC and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation would be in charge of the project.

제주도, 김녕 택지지구 사업 추진

제주특별자치도가 김녕리 공공 택지지구 사업을 본격적으로 추진합니다.

제주도는 김녕리 도유지 10만여 제곱미터를 제주도개발공사에 현물 출자해
공공택지를 조성하는 내용의 김녕리 토지 현물출자 동의안을 제주도의회에 제출했습니다 .

제주도는 도의회에서 동의안이 통과되면 2021년까지 김녕 택지에 국민임대와 분양주택 등 890여 세대를 공급할 계획입니다.

택지 조성사업에는 제주도개발공사와 LH가 사업시행자로 참여할 예정입니다.
