Casino inspections next month
Prosecution, police, immigration agents, etc. teaming up for probes

Local authorities will be inspecting area casinos on December 6th.

The prosecution, the police, the Korea Immigration Service, and other organizations will take part in the probes.

Provincial authorities will be checking the status of foreign employees as well as looking for evidence of illegal foreign exchange transactions and other violations.

Authorities say that beginning next year, they will conduct these types of inspections without warning at casinos they suspect of breaking the law.

이번 점검에는 검찰과 경찰, 출입국사무소 등이 함께 참여합니다.

제주도는 카지노 사업장 외국인 취업 종사자 현황과 불법 외환거래 등 위법 행위 등을 점검할 예정입니다.

특히 내년부터 불법 행위가 의심되는 카지노 사업장에 대해서는 사전 통보 없이 점검을 실시하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
