Only 37 of 87 plots put up for sale have sold this month

It’s been a very weak month so far in the Jeju land auction market.

According to an analysis by GG Auction, winning bids this month have been on average only 46.7 percent of the appraised value of the land. Last month, they were over 100 percent.

Among the 87 plots of land that have been put up for auction in May, only 37 have sold.

GG Auction researchers say the drop in prices and successful auctions this month are because development of many of the plots is restricted because they are in groundwater preservation areas.

토지 경매 낙찰가 큰 폭 하락

제주도 토지 경매 낙찰가가 큰 폭으로 하락했습니다.

경매분석센터 지지옥션에 따르면 지난달 감정가를 웃돌며 100% 이상의 높은 낙찰가율을 기록했던 제주 토지 경매가 이달 들어 46.7%로 떨어졌습니다.

전체 토지경매 87건 가운데 낙찰된 건수도 37건에 불과한 것으로 나타났습니다.

지지옥션은 지하수자원보전지구 등 규제가 다수 묶여 있는 토지가 이번 경매에 포함되면서 저가 낙찰에 영향을 미친 것으로 보인다고 설명했습니다.
