Company lauded for encouraging people to vote

KCTV Jeju has received an award from the National Election Commission for its efforts to raise interest in elections and encourage people to vote.

The award was presented “Voters’ Day” May 10th at a ceremony at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul to commemorate 70 years of democratic elections in the country.

KCTV worked with the Jeju Election Commission to host a quiz show on Voters’ Day to stimulate interest in the democratic process and it has taken part in campaigns to encourage more people to head to the polls.

KCTV제주방송은 어제(10일) 서울 여의도 KBS홀에서 열린 민주선거 70주년, '유권자의 날' 기념식에서 유권자의 적극적인 참정권 행사와 공명선거 정착을 이끈 공로로 중앙선관위원장 표창을 수상했습니다.

KCTV는 제주도선거관리위원회와 유권자의 날 퀴즈대회를 개최해 선거에 대한 관심을 높이고, 투표참여의 중요성을 알리는 캠페인을 전개했습니다.
