4. Local immigrants to be surveyed
Statistics Korea to ask about status, employment, language skills, etc.

Statistics Korea will survey locally-residing non-Koreans and naturalized citizens about their status of stay and employment situation.

The results of the survey will be used to formulate immigrant policies. Respondents will answer 140 questions, which will also include queries about their Korean language level.

Researchers will collect the data through in-person interviews.

통계청, 이민자 체류실태·고용조사 실시

통계청이 오는 21일부터 다음달 6일까지 도내 외국인과 귀화자를 대상으로 2018년 이민자 체류실태와 고용조사를 실시합니다.

이번 조사는 이민자 관련 정책수립에 필요한 기초 자료를 마련하기 위해 실시되며
도내 거주 외국인들에게 한국어 능력과 체류사항 등 140여개 항목을 질문합니다.

조사는 방문 면접 방식으로 이뤄집니다.
