Organizers discuss preparation progress

Organizers met Friday to check preparation status for the Korea Open International Taekwondo Championships.

The tournament begins in two months, and it’s being held in Jeju.

Members of the Korea Taekwondo Association, the event organizing committee, and other people associated with it met to discuss how preparations were progressing and what remains to be done.

With so many athletes coming here from so many different countries, they want to make sure the marketing strategy is effective and that there will be no problems with tournament registration as well as accommodations and transportation here in Jeju.

제주코리아오픈국제태권도대회 추진상황 점검회의가 17일 오후 대회 조직위원회 사무실에서 열렸습니다.

대한태권도협회와 조직위원회, 시스템 운영 대행사 등이 참석한 가운데 열린 17일 회의에서는 두달 앞으로 다가온 대회를 앞두고 그간의 추진상황과 앞으로의 준비사항을 점검했습니다.

특히 세계 각국 선수들의 대회 참가를 위한 홍보는 물론 등록이나 숙박, 교통문제에 차질이 생기지 않도록 관련 준비에 만전을 기하기로 했습니다.
