4. Roads around Jeju District Court to become one-way
Changes planned for 16 streets

Jeju City will make the roads around Jeju District Court one-way.

Jeju City is giving advance notice of the planned changes through June 7th, and it is accepting public opinion on them from local residents and groups.

It plans to make 16 roads one-way, including those near the court, the Jeju City Office of Education, and Jeil Middle School.

Officials hope to ease traffic congestion and improve pedestrian safety by doing so.

제주시가 제주지방법원 주변에 있는 이면도로를 일방통행으로 지정합니다.

제주시는 다음달 7일까지 일방통행로 지정에 따른 행정예고를 공고하고 지역주민이나 단체로부터 의견을 받고 있습니다.

일방통행로 지정 대상은 법원 부근부터 제주시교육지원청과 제주제일중학교까지 이르는 16개 이면도로입니다.

이번 일방통행로 지정은 법원 주변 이면도로에서 교통 체증과 보행안전이 악화되는 등 교통문제를 해소하기 위해 추진되고 있습니다.
