1. Candidate registration period ends Friday
Full campaigning allowed from May 31

Official candidate registration for the June 13th elections began Thursday and ends Friday.

The Jeju Election Commission is registering candidates for governor, superintendent of education, and provincial councilor, including education and proportional representatives on the council.

People who are running for council seats representing Seogwipo must register at the Seogwipo Election Commission.

Everyone who had already registered as a preliminary candidate must also complete the process to become a full-fledged candidate.

Once fully registered, candidates will have to follow the campaigning rules for preliminary candidates through May 30th. Beginning May 31st, they can launch their full campaign activities.

내일~모레, 6·13지방선거 후보 등록

6.13 지방선거에 따른 본 후보 등록이 내일(24일)과 모레(25일) 이틀 동안 실시됩니다.

제주도지사와 교육감 선거 후보, 제주시지역 도의원.교육의원 후보, 그리고 비례대표 도의원 선거 후보는 제주도선거관리위원회에서 접수합니다.

서귀포지역 도의원과 교육의원 후보는 서귀포시선거관리위원회로 접수하면 됩니다.

기존에 예비후보로 등록한 출마자도 이 기간에 후보 등록을 마쳐야 합니다.

후보자로 등록하더라도 오는 30일까지는 현재 예비후보에게 허용된 방법으로만 선거운동을 할 수 있으며 본격적인 선거운동은 31일부터 가능합니다.
