3. 2nd Jeju Gender Equality Committee formed
40 members include dozens of experts in various fields

The provincial government recently held an appointment ceremony for the members of its second Gender Equality Committee.

The 40 members include 26 experts from academia, journalism, politics, and other areas, as well as 14 provincial office staff.

The committee will discuss, adjust, assess, and revise the yearly gender equality policy enforcement plan.

Its term is two years.

제2기 제주도 양성평등위원회 출범

제2기 제주특별자치도 양성평등위원회 위촉식이 제주도청 회의실에서 열렸습니다.

새롭게 출범한 양성평등위원회는 학계와 언론인, 도의원, 각계각층의 전문가 26명을 위촉했고 당연직으로 제주도청 실국장 14명을 포함해 모두 40명으로 구성됐습니다.

위원회는 앞으로 양성평등 정책 연도별 시행계획과 양성평등 정책 평가, 제도개선 등을 심의 조정하게 됩니다.

임기는 2년입니다.
