Money will be used to buy privately-held ‘gotjawal’ land

The Landing Entertainment Korea Company has donated ten billion won in development funding to the province.

Provincial officials will use the funding to buy more privately-held land in the island’s unique “gotjawal” forests.

The company promised to make the donation in February when it applied for a modification to its casino license.

람정엔터테인먼트코리아 주식회사는 제주도청 회의실에서 곶자왈공유화재단과 제주발전기금 100억원 기탁했습니다.

이번에 기탁된 100억원은 곶자왈공유화 토지매입 기금으로 사용됩니다.

람정엔터테인먼트코리아는 지난 2월 카지노 변경허가를 신청하면서 제주발전기금 100억원을 기탁하겠다고 약속한 바 있습니다.
