106 candidates running in local elections on June 13

Candidates in the June 13th elections launched full campaign activities Thursday.

106 people are running for governor, superintendent of education, and provincial council seats, including the council’s proportional representatives. They and their campaigns are now hitting the streets and putting up banners to make their cases to local voters.

The Jeju Election Commission is putting up informational posters about the races and candidates in 441 island locations.

Candidates may continue full campaign activities through the day before the elections, June 12th.

6·13 지방선거 공식 선거운동이 31일부터 시작됐습니다.

이에 따라 이번 선거에 출마한 제주도지사와 교육감, 도의원, 비례대표 후보 106명은 이른 아침부터 거리 유세와 현수막 등을 동원해 지지를 호소하고 있습니다.

제주도선관위는 도내 441개소에 지방선거 출마후보자들의 선거 벽보를 부착하고 있습니다.

공식 선거운동은 선거 전날인 12일까지 가능합니다.
