Down 1.5% in April

Sales at large retailers in Jeju fell in April.

The Honam Regional Statistics Office says the gross sales index at large retailers in April was 95.9. That’s 1.5 percent lower than the year before.

Sales of clothing, footwear, bags, and cosmetics dropped 10 percent, and slight gains in sales of home appliances and recreational goods couldn’t make up the difference.

4월 제주지역 대형마트 판매 감소

제주지역 대형마트 판매가 줄어들었습니다.

호남지방통계청에 따르면 지난 4월 제주지역 대형소매점 판매액지수는 95.9로 지난해 같은 기간에 비해 1.5% 감소했습니다.

품목별로는 신발과 가방, 화장품과 의복이 10% 가량 감소했고 가전제품과 오락 취미용품은 소폭 상승한 것으로 집계됐습니다.
