Local police have nearly wrapped up their investigation into unfair hiring practices at government agencies, with charges not being filed in most cases.

The Jeju Provincial Police Agency began the probe in January, and it has turned over all the information it has collected to local prosecutors.

Only one person is being charged??the HR manager at the Jeju April 3rd Peace Foundation is alleged to have hired an uncertified language expert.

Prosecutors will not file charges regarding unfair hiring practices at Jeju Techno Park and the Jeju Province Development Corporation due to a lack of evidence. The case against the Jeju City Athletic Council was dropped as well.

공공기관에 대한 경찰의 채용비리 수사가 대부분 무혐의로 마무리됐습니다.

제주지방경찰청은 지난 1월부터 벌였던 공공기관 채용비리에 대한 수사를
대부분 마무리하고 검찰에 사건을 넘겼다고 밝혔습니다.

이 과정에서 제주4.3평화재단 채용담당자만이 자격미달 직원을 외국어 특기자를 채용한 혐의로 기소의견으로 송치됐습니다.

당초 수사선상에 올랐던 제주테크노파크와 제주도개발공사는 증거가 없어 불기소의견으로 송치됐고, 제주시 체육회 역시 내사종결됐습니다.
