5. Jeju City funding air purifier installation at daycare centers
21 centers getting \5m each

Jeju City will help 21 local daycare centers buy and instal air purifiers.

29 nursery schools applied for the support, and the city selected 21, based on their size and the number of children they care for.

Each will be given five million won to purchase the purifier, which will be installed by the end of the month.

City officials say they plan to seek additional funding to offer the support to the remaining daycare centers.


어린이집 21곳에 공기청정기 지원

제주시가 어린이집 21곳에 대해 공기청정기 설치를 지원합니다.

이번 공기청정기 지원에는 29개 어린이집이 신청한 가운데 면적과 보육아동수 등을 심사해 이같이 결정했습니다.

선정된 어린이집에는 공기청정기 구매 비용으로 5백만 원이 지원돼 이달 안으로 설치가 완료됩니다.

제주시는 예산을 추가 확보해 나머지 어린이집에 대해서도 지원할 예정입니다.
