4. New souvenir contest
Province accepting submissions July 16-31

The provincial government is holding a contest for new local souvenirs.

The contest has two categories??one for traditional and one for modern souvenirs. There are no rules for the submissions, just that they appeal to all visitors to the island.

Anyone can submit their souvenir ideas to the provincial tourism association from July 16th to the 31st.

Contest winners will be awarded a certificate of merit along with prize money. They will also be given funding to develop their ideas and then to market and sell their souvenirs online.

제주특별자치도가 다양한 관광기념품을 발굴하기 위해 공모전을 개최합니다.

공모는 전통과 현대기념품 2개 분야로 나눠 국내외 관광객들이 구매할 수 있는 모든 관광기념품이면 제한이 없습니다.

응모는 다음달 16일부터 31일까지 제주도 관광협회를 통해 접수합니다.

입상작에는 상장과 함께 시상금이 수여되며 상품개발자금과 온라인 홍보 판매 등이 지원될 예정입니다.
