5. Applications for ‘child grants’
Up to \100,000 monthly for 72 months for young children

Parents can soon begin applying for government grants for being a parent.

Jeju City will start Wednesday accepting applications for the program. The first payments will be made in September.

Parents can apply through community service centers, online, or through the “(복지로) Bokjiro” smartphone application.

The government will pay 100,000 won monthly for up to 72 months for any child born in or after October 2012 who is still under the age of five. For families of three, this benefit is only available if monthly income is 11.7 million won or less.


아동수당 지급, 20일부터 사전 신청

제주시가 오는 9월부터 시행되는 아동수당에 대해 오는 20일부터 사전 신청을 받습니다.

신청은 주민등록상 주소지의 읍면동 주민센터나 인터넷 사이트인 '복지로' 또는
스마트폰 복지로 앱을 통해 가능합니다.

아동수당은 2012년 10월 이후 출생한 만 5살 미만에게 최대 72개월간 10만원씩 지급되며 선정기준은 소득인정액이 3인가구의 경우 월 1천 170만원 이하입니다.
